What We Wore at U of A, August 15-November 9/08

The University of Alberta is gearing up for its centenary. One upcoming event is the exhibition What We Wore - 100 Years at the U of A as Told Through Clothing in the Main Floor Gallery, Human Ecology.

This exhibition will show significant artifacts that tell the story of 100 years of the University of Alberta. The Department of Human Ecology has a clothing collection of over 18,000 artifacts of clothing and textiles going back to the mid-1800s.
