Weekend Fun at the John Janzen Nature Centre

forest.jpg

Did you know that the John Janzen Nature Centre has great family programs almost every weekend?

During April you can participate in the "Spring Break -Nature Explorers" (April 1 - 5th):
Head outside to find signs of spring on our trails. We'll check out the pond for signs of insects and frogs. In the exhibit room touch a snake or a salamander. Each day we'll make a fun craft to take home.

"Easter Eggs for the Birds" (April 12 & 13th):
All different kinds of birds are returning to lay their eggs. Learn which animals lay eggs and how they look after them. Find out how Mother Nature paints real eggs to help hide them better.

"Wildflower Wonders" (April 18-19, 25-26)
Is it a weed or a wild flower? Come plant some wildflowers to take home and learn how these low maintenance flowers can enhance your garden this year. Explore the trails to see what is starting to turn green.
