Valentine's Day is just around the corner!

Do you want to do something special for your sweetheart, but are on a budget? With some creativity and a little time, you can come up with a special day in Edmonton.

It's too cold outside for a picnic, so pack a basket lunch and enjoy the warmth of the Lee Pavilion in the Citadel Theatre.

Make a thermos of hot chocolate and go sledding at the Legislature - or go for a skate instead!

Stroll through the Edmonton Art Gallery with your sweetie and decide which is the most romantic painting in the collection.

Red roses too expensive? How about treating your sweetie to a bouquet of tulips or a pot of primroses? They're only a few dollars at this time of year.
