Sunday Shorts

Pack up the family and head back in time to Fort Edmonton Park for a traditional harvest fair.

The annual Harvest Fair is an Edmonton favorite with a glimpse at how people used to harvest their crops. There are all kinds of fun activities for the whole family, including a watermelon eating contest, hobby horse races for the kids and lots more.

The Edmonton Horticultural Society (EHS) has teamed up with Fort Edmonton Park to hold a historical horticultural bench show. Here's the entry information if you want to bring the best of your home-grown produce to the show.

The harvest fair runs today only, Sunday August 29, 2010 from 10 AM until 6 PM.
