Have fun with an old-fashioned Harvest Festival today at Fort Edmonton Park!

Fort Edmonton Park is celebrating the harvest with demonstrations of how farming was done in Alberta using both horse-drawn and newer farm machines. There will be a watermelon eating contest, a hobby horse race for the kids and traditional music, games and family fun.

The event runs today, Sunday August 30th 2009 from 10am - 6pm at Fort Edmonton Park.
