Sunday Shorts

It's wedding season and Fort Edmonton Park wants to celebrate with you.

They're holding a "Weddings Through Time" event today, Sunday July 19th 2009. You can check out how a marriage in the1846 Fort would happen or see the difference in the 1920s. There is a traditional "trousseau tea" for a young bride in 1885 (the forerunner of modern bacheolorette parties) and even a magic lantern show to see how the CPR advertised honeymoons.

The event runs from 10am to 6pm today only.
