Storefront Cinema Nights '09

Bring the whole family down to Stony Plain Road this Friday & Saturday for the 2009 edition of "Storefront Cinema"!

On Friday, October 16th, 2009 in Butler Memorial Park (15715 Stony Plain Road) from 6 - 9pm you can watch animated movies from Canadian and local filmmakers - projected onto an inflatable outdoor screen. You can stay warm by the bonfire or use the hay bales to find the best seat in the house. Kids can also have a chance to try their hand at film making.

On Saturday, October 17th, from 7 - 10pm the stores along Stony Plain Road between 151st and 154th streets are used a screens as local artists have a chance to share their projects. The shops are still open for browsing and you can even enjoy something hot to drink as you enjoy the films.
