Shakespeare In The Park

The always-popular Freewill Shakespeare Festival returns to Edmonton next week for its 21st season!

This year, the Freewill Players will perform "Comedy Of Errors"

A Comedy of Errors leaves the women of Ephesus up to their hatpins in frustration with the bumbling men in their lives. Separated shortly after birth, two sets of twin boys lead separate but mirrored lives in the cities of Syracuse and Ephesus.

and "Titus Andronicus"

In Rome, it is election day, for Caesar as dead, and a new emperor must be chosen. Caesar’s sons Saturninus and Bassianus declare themselves candidates for the new emperor.

Beginning June 30th and running through until July 26th. Performances take place in Hawrelak Park, in the Heritage Amphitheatre. Make sure to check the calendar, each play is performed on alternate evenings.
