Saturday shorts

I think that today might be a good day to spend somewhere warm - how about checking out the Edmonton Kennel Club dog show?

You'll have a chance to watch some of the best purebred dogs from Western Canada, enjoy the talented obedience competitors and maybe decide on what kind of dog you'd like. It's running all day today and tomorrow at the Sportex at the Northlands.

Don't bring your own pet (the only dogs allowed are dogs entered in the show) and ask the owner before you pet the dogs - they spend a lot of time grooming :-)
