New Alberta Tobacco Reduction Act

Did you know that as of July 1/08 tobacco product displays and advertisements are prohibited in Alberta?

The province hopes by eliminating tobacco displays in stores that they will reduce exposure to tobacco products, especially for youth and make it easier for smokers to quit. The Alberta Tobacco Reduction was created to protect Albertans from the serious health risks of tobacco use.
