Mother's Day ideas around Edmonton

Mother's Day is just around the corner - it's May 11th... so do you have anything special planned to treat your Mom?

The Valley Zoo is holding a special Mother's Day Magic event from noon until 4pm on May 11th. Learn about the different animal moms at the zoo, play games and enjoy the day with other families.

The Blue Chair cafe (9624 - 76 ave) is holding a special Mother's Day brunch with the Jim Findlay jazz trio (disclaimer, he's my dad). Enjoy a tasty brunch and some jazz - be sure to call for reservations early because they book up fast!

Is your mom a gardener? Why not take her to the Muttart Conservatory annual bedding plant sale? It's open on May 9th for pass holders, and May 10th & 11th for the general public from 9am to 4pm in the greenhouses.
