Maisie's Magical Christmas House

maisie xmas house.jpg

There are a lot of beautiful lights in Edmonton during the Christmas season. The Legislature grounds, BrightLights, Candy Cane Lane... but head north on 97 street and keep your eyes open around 144 avenue.

Maisie's Magical Christmas House has been happening for five years, and has been christened in honor of the home owner's mother, Maisie who passed away in 2007.

Maisie loved the Christmas lights and wanted them to be enjoyed by people even after she was gone.

There is no charge for people to come and tour the display, but you're asked to bring a non-perishable donation to the Edmonton Food Bank.

I love this house! I am a huge Christmas fan and even have lights in my car! This man is my hero and my Christmas idol! I wish I could meet him and get any tips for my own display!

    Great job !

Does anyone know how long the lights are up for? Will they be up after Christmas?
