Luminaria at the Devonian

luminaria.jpg

The Devonian Botanic Garden is hosting a special event this Sunday, December 7th. Their renowned Japanese Garden will be lit with thousands of candles, following the paths through the garden.

Luminaria will also include delicious hot apple cider, festive bonfires to help keep you toasty warm and even roving acappella singers! They have included a memorial lane again this year. People are invited to light a candle in memory of someone special. Locally-made ornaments and decorations will be available for sale in their gift shop.

Need a map or driving directions? The Devonian has them online here.

Luminaria begins at 5 pm, with entry tickets sold until 9 pm. Admission is $9 for adults and $5 for children age 6-12. Children age 5 and under are free.
