Introductions and Springtime in Edmonton

dandelions in springtime

It's a sure sign of springtime, the dandelions are in bloom!

Hello everyone, I thought i should take a few minutes to introduce myself before we get into the fun stuff.

First off, I'm a born and bred Edmontonian. I spent my childhood going to Fort Edmonton Park and the Valley Zoo. My teenage years were occupied with various movie theatres and the joys of Old Strathcona & Whyte Ave. Now that I've reached my late twenties, the lure of the farmer's market, jazz clubs and really tasty sushi keep me happy with Edmonton.

The product of a puppeteer and a jazz musician, it's not suprising that I'm an artist & designer :-) I also perform a solo puppet show for kids in grades one, two and three. If that's not enough to keep me busy, I write the blogs, Her Accessories, Tangled Thread and The Creative Bride.

I share my life with my husband, our dogs and an extensive collection of house plants that are threatening to take over my studio.
