International Children's Festival

festival.jpg
The International Children's Festival, a perennial favorite for many years, is returning this year, from May 27th through the 31st.
The festival brings together the best of children's plays, puppet shows and entertainment from all over the world.  There are acts from Africa, the USA, France and more - as well as Canadians too!
Feature performers appear on the main stage - but there are lots of free outdoor activities.  There is a massive inflatable labyrinth (an ancient kind of maze) for kids to go through.  Face painters and balloon artists will wander through the festival.  You can even learn how to weave from a Metis artist, learn about local birds of prey - or even make an origami crane.
