in my opinion... olives

One of my favorite Saturday treats is to go to the Old Strathcona farmer's market and grab some goodies for lunch. Fresh carrots, home baked bread or even some fancy cheese are all popular picks. There's a particular stall in the market that is a must-visit for every trip - Olive Me.

Olive Me is an Edmonton-based company that creates seriously yummy gourmet olives. They have flavours like "The Great Mistake" (green olives stuffed with almonds and dressed with garlic, basil and sun-dried tomatoes) "Feta Pesto" (feta-stuffed green olives with basil pesto) or my particular favorite, the "Manhattan", filled with feta cheese and dresses with sun-dried tomatoes.
