in my opinion... favorite views

  There are a lot of places where you can catch a lovely view of downtown - almost anywhere on Saskatchewan Drive, at the top of the hill on 84 street and 98 avenue... My all-time favorite view of Edmonton's downtown core has got to be on the Capilano Bridge, on Wayne Gretzky Drive  (75th street).  In my opinion, it's one of the prettiest views in the city, with the skyscrapers being framed by the river valley.  It changes with the weather, but amazingly enough, it's a lovely view in the snow, fog or sunshine.
