Fort Edmonton Park Spooktacular

hallween pumpkin.jpg

Things are set to get spooky at Fort Edmonton Park as they unveil the Halloween event "Spooktacular"!

For two evenings only, Fort Edmonton Park transforms into the home of vampires and werewolves - pirates and knights in shining armour... and a place to find some sweet treats too.

On Friday and Saturday October 23rd & 24th, 2009 from 6 - 11pm, Fort Edmonton Park hosts a special Halloween event. 1885 street hosts "Fangwars" - a battle between werewolves and vampires. 1920 and 1905 streets have been turned into "Halloween Alley" - filled with all sorts of Halloween fun and even some trick or treating too. Blatchford Field Air Hangar hosts "Piracy and Pageantry" - with pirates and medieval knights fighting for control.

Tickets are on sale now, but like most Fort Edmonton special events, are sure to sell out fast. You can book in advance by calling Ticketmaster at (780) 451-8000 or booking online here.

I've had a few comments asking about tickets for the Spooktacular. You can call the Fort and ask, but normally their events sell out in advance.

I'd personally recommend buying tickets before you go!
