Fall Fun in Edmonton

fall leaves.jpg

Just because the weather is getting cooler, doesn't mean that you still can't get out and enjoy the best of Edmonton and the surrounding area.

Did you know that there are lots of attractions that have fall and winter hours?

The Valley Zoo is open daily from 9:30am until 4pm daily from now until New Year's Eve (they are closed on Christmas though...)

You can get away from the chill for a mini-tropical vacation at the Muttart Conservatory. They're open on weekdays from 9:30am until 5:30pm and from 11am through 5:30pm on weekends and holidays.

Step back in time, in the middle of the city, at the John Walter Museum. The house is open Sundays from from now until December from 1 - 4pm.

If you feel like a little drive, the Reynolds-Alberta Museum in Wetaskiwin is open six days a week (closed Mondays) from 10am until 5pm.

Visit Rutherford House, the home of Alberta's first premier any time, Tuesdays through Sunday, noon until 5pm. The Arbour Restaurant is open Tuesdays through Sunday, 11am until 4pm with reservations recommended.
