Edmonton actor stars in CBC Everest series

Mountaineers Laurie Skreslet and Pat Morrow were the first Canadians to reach the top of Mount Everest in 1982. Edmonton actor Eric Johnson plays Skreslet in the new CBC miniseries Everest.

The $11 million, two-part, miniseries, which was filmed in Nepal and the Canadian Rockies, starts tomorrow night, Sunday, August 31/08 and continues Monday, September 1/08.
