Dining Out For Life - April 24

diningout.gifThursday, April 24 is the third annual Dining Out For Life event in Edmonton. If you enjoy a meal at one of the participating restaurants, they will donate a minimum of 25% of the food bills to help those living with HIV/AIDS in the Edmonton area. This year, Alley Kat Brewery will also donate 50 cents from every bottle sold at participating restaurants.

Some of the finest independent restaurants in Edmonton are participating, so you are guaranteed to be well fed while supporting a terrific cause. Check out the website for a full list. Make sure you say you are “Dining Out For Life” when making your reservations.

livingpositive.gifLast year, Edmontonians raised $7,896.92 for Living Positive, a coalition of persons living with HIV infection. Living Positive provides tangible social support through sharing information and insight and promoting HIV/AIDS awareness.

One lucky diner will win a trip to Jasper’s Black Cat Ranch, and a server will win a prize package from deVine Wines. If you can’t make it out to eat that evening, you can make a tax-deductible donation at the Dining Out For Life website.
