Christmas Reflections at Fort Edmonton Park

christmas reflections.jpg

Celebrate the season at Fort Edmonton Park with "Christmas Reflections".

Your holiday fun begins with a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the park followed by a yummy beverage. The Fort has been decorated in seasonal style and is full of holiday fun.

"Costumed interpreters in several historic buildings along 1905 and 1920 streets invite you to sing carols to live music, check out Christmas wares for sale, construct special Christmas crafts or sample baking from the wood stove. Visitors of all ages enjoy adding to our “wishing tree” and receiving a chocolate coin from Father Christmas."

Christmas Reflections runs on December Sundays, 6th, 13th and 20th from 4 - 8pm as well as December 11, 12, 17-19 & 21-23 from 6 – 10 p.m. You must pre-register by calling the city at 311, and like all Fort Edmonton Park programs, this one is guaranteed to sell out.

Are there any sleigh rides planned for the daytime (afternoon) of Friday, Dec. 31st, at Fort Edmonton?

editor: Unfortunately, it looks like there aren't any rides on New Year's eve. You can also call 311 and ask the city for more information.
