Christmas in Old Strathcona

christmas window.jpg

Old Strathcona is being taken over the holiday spirit for the next two weekends.

Christmas elves will be roaming the streets with candy canes, helping shoppers and even carrying extra change for parking meters.  After all, there's nothing like getting a parking ticket to ruin your holiday mood!

Santa Claus will be visiting the farmer's market from noon until 3pm on the 13th and the 20th.  Children are welcome to get their picture taken with the "jolly old elf".  There's even a horse-drawn wagon touring Whyte Ave, making stops at some of the great shops along the way.
