celebrating Earth Day in Edmonton

heart earth.jpg

Well, it's still cold and snowy out there, but there are lots of ways that you can celebrate Earth Day in Edmonton!

- Trade in 20 plastic grocery bags at Southgate Centre (11100-51 Ave) to get a snazzy fabric totebag. On until April 26th.

- Take the bus or the LRT instead of driving (or even car pool).

- Get a cup of organic or Fair trade coffee instead of your regular cup of java.

- Even better, buy a pound of organic coffee beans from Earth's General Store.

- Switch out your traditional light bulbs for energy efficient CFL light bulbs.

Who wants to add more ideas?  Feel free to post them in the comments :-)
