Capital Modern Tour, August 9/08

Isn't architecture fascinating? City architecture lovers will fancy the Capital Modern Tour coming up on Saturday, August 9/08 from 1-4 pm. Art Gallery of Alberta Capital Modern curators Shafraaz Kaba and Troy Smith will take participants on a guided bus tour. There will a special presentation on two urban revitalization projects - Enterprise Square and the new Art Gallery of Alberta.

"This tour is a rare opportunity to see some hidden Modern gems and take part in a discussion with some of the city's best architectural minds, " says the gallery. "The Capital Modern Tour offers an inside look at the architecture and urban planning that made Edmonton one of the most progressive cities in the country for its time."
