Arts Expo 2010

Our neighbors to the east are showcasing the best of their arts & culture community with the annual Arts Expo 2010.

The expo takes place on Saturday, February 13th from 10am - 5pm and Sunday, February 14th from 12pm - 5pm at Salisbury Greenhouses in Sherwood Park. You can meet with local artists and see how they create their work. Art, fine craft, jewelry and more will be available for sale. Artists will also be demonstrating different techniques throughout the weekend.

"A showcase event for the residents of Strathcona County to see what a vibrant and thriving Art Community we have and to encourage the public to come out and look at the different artistic disciplines that are available in our community to join and participate in."

The Mayor's Celebration of the Arts Gala takes place on Friday evening from 7pm - 10pm with a live and silent auction, with auction items including stone sculpture by John LaFortune, hotel stays, tickets to performances at Festival Place, and more. There is a wine & cheese reception, live entertainment and is hosted Donovan Workun (improv performer)

Admission is free for the arts expo and $25 for the Mayor's gala, available online here.
