Against the Grain: Japanese Woodblock Prints from the University of Alberta Art Collection,

Now at the University of Alberta Museums' Gallery A, the exhibition explores the aesthetic, cultural and technical developments of woodblock printmaking in Japan. It features approximately 70 prints from the Edo period (1603-1868) to the present day. On Saturday, June 14/08, you can Learn the Art of Woodblock Printmaking.
