A Tower of Song - Leonard Cohen Festival 2009

"A Tower of Song" or the Leonard Cohen Festival returns to Edmonton to celebrate Leonard Cohen's 75th birthday.

The event happens this Friday evening, September 18th, 2009 at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. Cohen's son, Adam Cohen (from Low Millions) joins the festival this year. Hosted by Edmonton's Cohenights organization for the seventh year, with everything from visual arts to music on stage.

"A Tower of Song also includes work by visual artist Larisa Sembaliuk Cheladyn with dancers from the Victoria School of Performing and Visual Arts; reggae-singer Janaya Ellis of Souljah Fyah; folk-pop musician Ido vanderLaan; and host Peter Brown in an evening of music, poetry and movement."

Tickets are available from Ticketmaster for the festival.
