2009 Christmas on the Square Holiday Light Up

xmas tree lighting.jpg

It may not look like Christmas quite yet, but it's getting closer!

Celebrate the annual "Christmas On The Square - Holiday Light Up" tomorrow, Saturday November 14th in Downtown Edmonton. Mayor Mandel at the Downtown Business Association kick of the holiday season in Edmonton, from 1 - 6pm in Sir Winston Churchill Square.

The party starts at 1pm with music, choirs, festive drinks and some great shopping at the 104th Street market. The switch gets thrown on the 60 foot Christmas tree, decorated with environmentally-friendly LED lights, at 5pm. The fireworks and the lighting of downtown follow.

Please bring a non-perishable donation for the Edmonton Food Bank or an unwrapped new toy or book for Santa's Anonymous.
