Whyte Avenue Art Walk, July 11-13/08

I can't imagine a better time than the Whyte Avenue Art Walk, July 11-13/08.

If you go away summer weekends, plan to be in Edmonton for the Art Walk. The popular city event turns Old Strathcona into an outdoor studio and gallery featuring over 230 working artists. Creative juices will flow freely as art makers and art admirers meet in the streets.

I'm especially keen on the public programming in MacIntyre Park. City Art Center, Art Start and The Sculpture Association of Alberta plan fun projects. The Whyte Avenue Street Sale on Sunday, July 13/08 promises big sales by Whyte Avenue Merchants.
